Terms of HSBC Mortgages:

Currency: Kazakhstan tenge (KZT), US dollar (USD)
Amount: up to 70% of current property cost. Some restrictions apply.
                 KZT: 3 mil - 150 mil
                 USD: 25,000 - 1 mil
Term: 36 - 240 months
Pledge: property in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau and Aktau (special requirement to the type of building apply)
Pledge insurance: at the expense of the Bank
Life or accidental insurance: not required
Payments scheme: monthly annuity and reducing balance payments

Documents required:

• ID (original) and copies of Taxpayer’s Registration Number and Social Individual Code.
• Income proof document (income statement, employment contract, pension fund statement, payroll statement).
• Address registration book and/or address proof.
• Marriage/divorce certificate and children’s birth certificates.
• Notarized confirmation of spouse’s consent for property pledge.
• Certified evaluation of property value by independent party. The list of evaluation companies can be found here.
• Pledge property document.
• Confirmation of any regular expenses (tax, other loans, insurance, etc).
• Copies of property documents.
• Completed application form.
• Any other additional documents and information requested by the bank.
